‘Even chance’ gives all 45 numbers the same probability. ‘Drawn often’ and ‘Drawn rarely’ weight the pick by how many times each number has actually come up between draw 1 and the latest one, so the frequent or the infrequent side comes up more. No number is ever blocked, so all three modes can produce anything from 1 to 45, and your choice is remembered like the line count. Because each Korean Lotto draw is independent, the odds are the same either way — this simply gives you one more way to choose.

‘Lock in this line’ under a line puts a padlock on it. Locked lines survive the next generation, so you can keep the one or two you like and keep spinning the rest. Press it again to release the line at any time.

Under ‘Pick your own’, tap six numbers from 1 to 45 and lock them in. This is the place for a birthday or the combination you have always played — anything you would rather not leave to a machine. They are saved for the next draw and checked exactly like the generated lines, shown as ‘My line’ when the results come in. You can lock in up to ten of them.

If you use the same numbers each week, put them in My saved numbers. Saved lines enter on their own whenever a new draw opens, so you never repeat the tapping. Auto-entry can be switched off per line, and turning it back on adds that line to the current draw straight away.

Your locked-in lines are stored against the next draw to be held. When Saturday's draw is over and the winning numbers are published, ‘Check results’ compares them automatically and shows how many numbers each line matched and which prize tier it reached. Below the winning numbers you also get how many people won first prize that draw and how much each received. If nobody matched all six and the prize rolled over, it says so. Pressing ‘Take-home’ next to the amount drops that prize straight into the calculator further down. The strip of recent draws under the heading scrolls sideways through twelve draws you can jump to with a tap, and any draw you have entered shows its line count so you can see where your numbers are. For older draws use the ‹ › buttons or type a number, and ‘Latest’ brings you back to the most recent one. If you have been away and missed some results, the draws you have not looked at yet gather at the top of ‘Check results’ with their prize tiers, and tapping a row jumps straight there. Below that, ‘My running record’ collects every draw you have entered, grouped by prize tier.

Enter a prize and the withholding tax is deducted immediately. Buttons for a typical prize at each tier are there too, so you can get a sense of the numbers without typing any.

Spin the twelve-slice wheel and tonight's dinner is settled. If nothing on it appeals, ‘Shuffle the dishes’ fills the wheel again, and when a result comes up the share button sends it to whoever you are eating with.

Each Korean Lotto draw is nevertheless independent of every other one. Whichever mode you choose, the odds of first prize stay 1 in 8,145,060. The statistical modes are there to make choosing more fun; they are not a way to improve your chances.

Only inside your own browser, in local storage. Nothing is sent to a server, so your numbers do not appear on your other devices, and they disappear if you clear your browser data or use a private window. That is also why no sign-up or personal information is needed.

Exactly as the official rules do. All six numbers is first prize, five numbers plus the bonus is second, five numbers is third, four is fourth and three is fifth. Fewer than three shows as no win.

Second prize requires five of your six to match the main numbers and your remaining one to be the bonus number. The generator imitates the real draw by showing a bonus number beside your line as well, but that figure is only for looks and plays no part in grading your line.
